Best Value with the Xbox 360 Core
Microsoft's Xbox 360 video game console system is the most popular next generation console. It has the best hardware, best features, and
best games out there today. However, some of this success might be attributed to the options that Microsoft gave gamers when they released
multiple version of the Xbox 360. The Xbox 360 Premium had many features that some gamers might find appealing, while other users will be
perfectly happy with the Xbox 360 Core (also called the Arcade version now).
Money Saver
The Xbox 360 Core costs a lot less than the Premium version – nearly $200 less than the highest end version available! $280 is a lot more
appealing to many people than $450, but there are some differences that consumers should be aware of before making their decision on which
version to purchase. Firstly, the Xbox 360 Core comes with all the basic functionality that anyone would expect to find with a video game console
– the ability to play Xbox 360 game titles of course. If that's all you want from a console, then the Xbox 360 Core is perfect for you.
However, the Xbox 360 Elite comes with much more internal memory than the Xbox 360 Core. The Elite has a 120 Gb hard drive while the
Core only has 256 Mb of internal memory. Also, the Elite comes in a black chassis instead of a white one, and it comes with a network cable and
headset. Not only that, but the Core only has a standard television cable, and the Elite comes with an HDMI cable. If you're looking for
additional functionality beyond the ability to play Xbox 360 games, then the Elite is probably the right choice for you, although you should also
understand that you can buy an external hard drive separately for your Xbox 360, and you can also buy an HDMI cable if you need one.
If you're looking to save nearly $200 on your game console while still keeping all the basic functionality required to play all Xbox 360
games, then the Core is right for you. However, if you want additional functionality, then you may want to try out the Elite. In any case, you
can buy the additions separately for the Core. You can buy the wireless adapter, headset, HDMI cable, and network cable by themselves, perfect if
you don't necessarily want all of them. You can also buy an external hard drive that you can take with you. For the best value, check out the
Xbox 360 Core.
